The oracy workshop that brings professional podcast skills into your classroom.

Your Podclass: A Voice for Every Young Person

Your Podclass is a hands-on podcast workshop designed to nurture oracy for every child in your setting, with a focus on helping your young people grow in confidence as they share their ideas and voices.

Every workshop is tailored to your learning goals and developing your children's’ unique personalities, all whilst highlighting the effectiveness of your oracy teaching in your school.

Hosted by me, Al Booth, an ex-BBC and commercial radio broadcaster and now a podcast producer of educational titles, each workshop gives your young people the chance to create, speak, listen and discuss- all while creating their very own mini-podcast episode.

Whether you're encouraging storytelling, discussion, presentation or listening skills, Your Podclass develops the spoken language skills at the heart of great communication.

From Early Years to school leavers the goal of Your Podclass is to help every child develop confidence, clarity, and creativity through spoken language—and to enjoy doing it!

With professional podcasting equipment brought into your setting, each pupil will be able to share their ideas openly as they create the podcast they want to make, before then presenting their show...

... and you'll receive a professionally produced ready to share with your school community and, more importantly—your classroom of broadcast stars.

"Make sure that the national curriculum requirements for spoken language are translated into practice, so that pupils learn how to become competent speakers. This should include opportunities to teach the conventions of spoken language, for example how to present, to debate and to explain their thinking."
