Bring Your Curriculum to Life with Your Podclass Podcast Workshop

Your Podclass is a fun, interactive podcast workshop focused on growing confidence in your young people.

Using professional broadcast techniques and equipment, Your Podclass allows children to record their own mini-podcast episode based on a curriculum topic you've been learning about in class.

Hosted by me, Al Booth, a former BBC and commercial radio presenter, and current podcast producer with full DBS certification and more than 25 years' broadcast experience, the Your Podclass workshops are all about helping the brilliant individuals in your class find their voice.

Each workshop is designed specifically for the needs of your young people and with the fluidity that allows you to focus on the lessons you're teaching.

• Maybe you want your Key Stage 1 children to write a script and record each line individually.

• Perhaps your Key Stage 2 class will record an interview-style podcast and develop their research skills.

• Or will your KS3 and KS4 students will record a debate-style "live" podcast episode?

Your Podclass is for Your Class. So each workshop is tailored to your needs and the needs of your young people.

The main thing is that your young people grow in confidence and have fun during the workshop - whether that's writing, presenting, or seeing how things get produced. (They can choose the music and sound effects on the day too!)

DELIVERY OF YOUR PODCLASS PODCAST

After the recording at your school or academy, and once the music and SFX have been chosen, I bring the audio back to my home studio where I edit and produce each child's part into a complete podcast.

You'll received both the audio podcast and an accompanying video that features a visual of each child's name as they appear on-mic. (See video below for example)

Both the audio and the video are sent via email so you can download it or share the link with fellow educators, parents and friends of the school, and most importantly THE STARS themselves.

After all... it is YOUR PODCLASS.
